I will kiss you in four places...
I've seen this clip doing the rounds recently. Noice. And it's good to see the Boys getting some international attention.

D.A.A.S. -- Throw Your Arms Around Me

What Aussie hasn't drunkenly belted this out to a canine chorus at 4am, arm-in-arm with mates, staggering down argon streets with the dawn seeping into the sky?

hippo birdee two ewes!

Also, I love the DAAS version of this song even more than the original Hunters and Collectors one, and I was a big Hunters fan.

Goddamn, I miss that time of my life. Soundtrack to university that was. Not to mention their live show leaving at least one flatmate half-naked and shoeless before intermission.

Happy birthday, man.

You have classier mates than mine. My lot are more likely to sing I f**k dogs.

It's fun to sing TYAAM in a duet with someone singing the other version. :) I personally prefer I heard it through the Grapevine. Can't stand Marvin Gaye anymore.

I have on video tape...somewhere...the episode of The Big Gig in which the Boys sang Grapevine. Stunning version. I also have it as an MP3.

Happy Birthday! :-)

I love this song, was reminded of how much only a couple of weeks ago. The DAAS boys have such beautiful voices and a great sense of humour too. ;-)

I believe last time I was hearing this song sung drunkenly yet beautifully, was on top of a water tower as we escaped a fire dancing party with some yummy cookies! that was 3 kids ago, yet still so fresh in my mind :) thanks for the trip!

I haven't. I'm so unAustralian.
