Comic RSS feeds
A dear friend of mine wanted to know what webcomics I read...

Here's the list at present:
  • [info]abominable_rss The Abominable Charles Christopher: the adventures of a dim-witted yeti.
  • [info]chifley_advent2 [info]chifley_comic The Adventures of Chifley: I may be biased on this one. Especially as the comic doesn't come through the feed, and you have to click through... but it's still grand. So read it.
  • [info]daily_nemi I <3 Nemi. Simple.
  • [info]pearlswine Pearls Before Swine: Deceptively appealing.
  • [info]pfsc pictures for sad children: a bad feeling you get when you are feeling good, or a good feeling you get when you are feeling bad. may not be appropriate for sad children.
  • [info]softerworldfeed a softer world: Beautiful pictures. Evil text.
  • [info]tiny_ghosts tiny ghosts: It's about what it feels like to be a monster/ghost/robot/toy/etc. but not the scary kind. It's about being frightened of war and what you might turn into when you grow up if you aren't careful. It's about loss and longing and love and hope and being small and scared of a big world and not knowing your place in it and wanting to belong but always being on the outside and not being sure that God loves you but really hoping he does even though pretty much everyone else thinks you are a weirdo. Stuff like that. (Another click-through... but again, worth it).
  • [info]wulff_morg_new wulffmorgenthaler: I am reliably informed that this webcomic is not funny.
  • [info]xkcd_rss xkcd: A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language.

I think that's everything, but I really need to do a flist purge soon, because I can't see my subs on my profile page (gods I hate that). I'll add to this list as I find stuff I've overlooked.

Anyway, if you've any recommendations, please let me know in the comments. And check out the stuff up there -- it's All Good.

ED2: Other Stuff I've Overlooked Which Is Excellent:
These are some other really excellent web strips which are worth reading, which came out of the comments below. I do not read all of them, but they're all worth a look at. A Rant: There's some other webcomics by a couple called Drew and Natalie Dee, which I was initially going to include in this list. The comics are called Married to the Sea, Toothpaste for Dinner, and Natalie Dee. Unfortunately, the artists think that their work is too good for a list like this one... an assertion which I would disagree with: there are many comics in the above list which are magnitudes more awesome. However, it's certainly within their rights to refuse to allow RSS feeds of their work, just as it's within my rights to assert that their attitude is more than enough to sour readers to their work.

ED3: A Recant: Drew and Natalie Dee have relented, had a change of heart. I am happy, because their work is worth recommending. HOORAY!!!

(ED: And here's the perfect place to also mention the [info]snarkoleptics community, which looks at webcomics in general.)

And one day, Phil & Bob will return....
What is Phil n Bob?

To save me hunting them up, do you happen to know offhand if any of those have LJ-piped RSS feeds?

(If it's not simply a case of you pulling them off your profile page syn list, don't worry about it, I can do it tomorrow.)

I don't, sorry. I know Girl Genius should have a feed. Girls with Slingshots doesn't seem to yet. Miracle of Science ended before RSS was widely implemented, though the new project its author and artist are working on, Afterlife Blues, might have one.

[info]girlgeniuscomic (although I'm not a Foglio aficionado)

Wish I could find a feed for Girls with Slingshots, as it looks bloody wunnerful... alas, I really don't have the time to read a strip I can't out on my flist.

Afterlife Blues doesn't have a feed I can find, neither.

But thanks for your suggestions.

If you're busy tooling around with all that, I can better understand why you rarely comment. :P
