A Question of Programming Ethics http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/001072.html I was looking for a way to back up my gmail account to a local drive... During my search I came across G-Archiver... every time a user adds their account to the program to back up their data, it sends an email with their username and password to his personal email box!
If you used that programme to back up your Gmail, change your password now and check your Gmail filters! (You can easily use Thunderbird or any other POP email client to download and save your GMails, btw.)
