Big Phil

I devoured Superfreakonomics rather quickly (I founded it a damned enjoyable page-turner--albeit faulty in the section on Climate Change), and now I'm grazing in The Exegesis of Philip K. Dick. 900-odd pages long, plus notes and index, and I'm fast finding out that my wide, eclectic reading tastes were for a purpose.

Even the glossary has new and anamnesiatic learning delights: for example, "ananke (Greek): The blindness that follows hubris", and suddenly the webdesign skills of igrick become understood...

Oh, I was going to say: I like the new, less-populated LJ crowd. It feels more cosy and friendly. Pull your seat up. Lets kick back and enjoy the atmosphere.
